Hello everyone,

In Kandy, amidst challenges we tread,

Grey waters and black, in tanks they spread.

Pumping tried, yet nature holds its way,

But hope blooms bright with each new day.

We plant the Canna Lily, tender and true,

A whisper of Krishna guiding all we do.

Its roots draw life, filter, and care,

A symbol of balance in the earth and air.

Five factors guide us in this humble quest:

The body, the senses, the endeavour, the performance, and Krishna blessed.

As rocks, sand, and charcoal filter the flow,

So too our efforts let divine grace show.

Our garage now near, access made clear,

We watch, we tend, with hearts sincere.

Nature and nurture, hand in hand,

Together they heal our precious land.

Do not worry, dear friends, all will align,

With patience, devotion, and Krishna divine. 🙏🌱

🇱🇰 Sinhala (සිංහල) – Poetic Version

සියලුදෙනාට ආයුබෝවන්,

කැන්ඩිහි අප ගමන් කරද්දී,

ගැඹුරු ජලය සහ කළු ජලය ටැංකි වලට විය.

පම්පුව රැගෙන උත්සාහ කළත්, ස්වභාවය මඟට තබයි,

නමුත් බලාපොරොත්තු මල් පිපෙයි සෑම දිනයකම.

Canna Lily රුධිරය මෙන් මිහිරි,

කෘෂ්ණාගේ මාවත අඳුරන සඟරාව.

වැලි, ගල් සහ චරකෝල් මඟින් ජලය පිරිසිදු කරයි,

ස්වභාවය සහ වාතය අතර සමබරතාවයක් නිරූපණය කරයි.

අපේ ගමන මග පෙන්වන්නේ පහත් කරුණු පහකි:

සිරුර, ඇස සහ හඬ, උත්සාහය, කාර්යය, සහ කෘෂ්ණා ආශිර්වාදය.

ජලය පිරිසිදු වීම මෙන්ම, අප උත්සාහයද දේව ආශිර්වාදය පෙන්නයි.

අපගේ ගරාජය දැන් ආසන්නයේ, පහසුවෙන් යා හැකි,

අප නිරීක්ෂණය කරමින්, සැත්කමෙන් රැක ගනිමු.

ස්වභාවය සහ ආරක්ෂාව, අතින් අති,

එකතුවේ අපගේ දුර්ලභ පෘථිවිය සුව කරනවා.

කණගාටු නොවන්න, මිතුරන්, සියල්ල සම්මුඛවනු ඇත,

සෙනෙහස, භක්ති, සහ කෘෂ්ණාගේ ආශිර්වාදය සමඟ. 🙏🌱

அனைவருக்கும் வணக்கம்,

கண்டியில் பயணிக்கும் போது,

மஞ்சள் நீரும் கருப்பு நீரும் தொட்டி நிரம்பியவை.

பம்பிங் முயற்சி பல செய்தும், இயற்கை வழியை தடுக்கிறது,

ஆனால் நம்பிக்கை மலர்கிறது ஒவ்வொரு நாளிலும்.

Canna Lily, இனிமை மிக்க, நம்மை வழிநடத்தும்,

கிருஷ்ணனின் அருள் ஒவ்வொரு செயலிலும் காணப்படுகிறது.

கல், மணல் மற்றும் கார்பன் மூலம் நீர் சுத்தம் செய்யப்படுகிறது,

இது நிலம் மற்றும் காற்றில் சமநிலை சின்னமாகும்.

நம்முடைய பயணத்தை வழிநடத்தும் ஐந்து காரணி:

உடல், ஐந்து உணர்வுகள், முயற்சி, செயல், மற்றும் கிருஷ்ணன் அருள்.

Bonjour à tous,

À Kandy, nous avançons malgré les défis,

Eaux grises et noires se répandent dans les réservoirs.

Plusieurs pompages ont échoué, la nature suit son chemin,

Mais l’espoir fleurit chaque matin.

Nous plantons la Canna Lily, tendre et vraie,

Un murmure de Krishna guidant tout ce que nous faisons.

Ses racines filtrent, purifient et nourrissent,

Symbole d’équilibre entre la terre et l’air.

Cinq facteurs nous guident dans cette humble quête :

Le corps, les sens, l’effort, la performance, et la bénédiction de Krishna.

Comme l’eau est filtrée par les pierres, le sable et le charbon,

Nos efforts laissent également transparaître la grâce divine.

Notre garage est maintenant proche, un accès facilité,

Nous surveillons et entretenons avec sincérité.

La nature et les soins, main dans la main,

Guérissent ensemble notre précieuse terre.

Ne vous inquiétez pas, chers amis, tout s’alignera,

Hello everyone,

We are happy ❤️ to share what we have been actively working on during our time in Kandy.

Fortunately, we decided to visit Kandy before travelling to Jaffna. As shared earlier, we have encountered several challenges, particularly with the management of grey water and black water connected to our septic system.

After careful assessment, the bowser team explained that due to the levels of the septic tank, the house, and the position of the truck, it is technically very difficult to completely empty the tank. This is why several pumping attempts were not successful, and the issue remains unresolved.

However, guided by both practical thinking and inspiration, we have begun implementing a natural solution. We are installing a biological filtration system using rocks, coconut shell charcoal, and sand, supported by planting Canna lilies around the soak area.

The Canna Lily, also lovingly resonating with the name of Krishna, reminds us of a deeper message in our journey.

Just as we reflect on the five factors:

• The body
• The five senses
• The endeavour
• The performance
• And Krishna as the guiding force

In the same way, this system also works in harmony:

• The structure (our tank and land)
• The flow (water movement)
• The effort (our corrective actions)
• The process (filtration and treatment)
• And nature’s grace, symbolised through the Canna Lily

This reminds us that while we make every effort, there is always a higher guidance supporting the outcome.

Additionally, our new garage is now located very close to the septic tank, which will allow easier and more effective access for future maintenance.
