Hare Krishna!

“May our words become service, our service become devotion, and our devotion lead us ever closer to the lotus feet of Lord Krishna.”

🪔 An Offering of Śaraṇāgati (Complete Surrender) 🪔

With heartfelt devotion and gratitude to the Supreme Lord, my dear friend Mr. Yoga and I had the blessed opportunity to offer this beautiful Panchaloha (five-metal) deity to the Kurinchikumaran Temple in Germany.

This offering was not merely a donation of a sacred murti; it was an expression of Śaraṇāgati—complete surrender at the lotus feet of the Lord.

In the Bhagavad Gītā (18.66), Lord Krishna lovingly assures us:

“Abandon all varieties of duties and simply surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear.”

Every act of loving service offered with humility becomes an offering of the heart. We pray that this sacred deity will inspire countless devotees to cultivate faith, devotion, peace, and loving service to God for many generations.

May this humble offering remind us that the greatest wealth is not what we possess, but what we lovingly dedicate in the service of the Divine.

🪔 சரணாகதியின் புனித அர்ப்பணம் 🪔

எல்லாம் வல்ல பரமாத்மாவிற்கு எங்கள் மனமார்ந்த நன்றியையும் பக்தியையும் சமர்ப்பித்து, என் அன்புத் தோழர் திரு. யோகா அவர்களும் நானும் இணைந்து, இந்த அழகிய பஞ்சலோகத் தெய்வ விக்ரகத்தை ஜெர்மனியில் அமைந்துள்ள குறிஞ்சிக்குமரன் ஆலயத்திற்கு சமர்ப்பிக்கும் பாக்கியத்தைப் பெற்றோம்.

இது ஒரு விக்ரகத்தை அன்பளிப்பாக வழங்கிய செயல் மட்டுமல்ல; இது சரணாகதி—பரமனின் திருவடிகளில் முழுமையாக தன்னை ஒப்படைக்கும் பக்தியின் வெளிப்பாடாகும்.

பகவத் கீதையில் (18.66) பகவான் ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணர் அருளுகிறார்:

“எல்லா தர்மங்களையும் விட்டுவிட்டு என்னிடமே முழுமையாக சரணடைவாயாக. நான் உன்னை எல்லா பாவங்களிலிருந்தும் விடுவிப்பேன். கவலைப்படாதே.”

தாழ்மையுடனும் அன்புடனும் இறைவனுக்குச் செய்யப்படும் ஒவ்வொரு சேவையும் நித்திய ஆன்மீகப் பலனை அளிக்கிறது.

இந்தப் புனித விக்ரகம் எண்ணற்ற பக்தர்களின் இதயங்களில் பக்தி, அமைதி, கருணை மற்றும் இறை அன்பை வளர்க்கும் தெய்வீக அருள்மிகு மையமாக விளங்க வேண்டும் என்று பிரார்த்திக்கிறோம்.

நாம் பெற்றவற்றை வைத்திருப்பதல்ல உண்மையான செல்வம்; அவற்றை இறை சேவைக்காக அர்ப்பணிப்பதே உயர்ந்த செல்வம் என்பதை இந்த அர்ப்பணம் நினைவூட்டட்டும்.

இறைவன் ஸ்ரீமன் நாராயணரும், ஸ்ரீகிருஷ்ணரும், குறிஞ்சிக்குமரனாக அருள்பாலிக்கும் முருகப்பெருமானும், இந்தப் புனித விக்ரகத்தை தரிசிக்கும் அனைவருக்கும் அருள், ஆனந்தம் மற்றும் ஆன்மீக முன்னேற்றத்தை வழங்குவார்களாக!

🪔 Une Offrande de Śaraṇāgati (Abandon Total à Dieu) 🪔

Avec une profonde dévotion et une immense gratitude envers le Seigneur Suprême, mon cher ami M. Yoga et moi-même avons eu le privilège d’offrir cette magnifique divinité en Panchaloha (alliage sacré de cinq métaux) au Temple Kurinchikumaran en Allemagne.

Cette offrande n’est pas seulement le don d’une statue sacrée ; elle représente avant tout un acte de Śaraṇāgati, c’est-à-dire un abandon total et confiant aux pieds de lotus du Seigneur.

Dans la Bhagavad-Gītā (18.66), le Seigneur Krishna nous rassure avec amour :

« Abandonne toutes les autres formes de devoir et réfugie-toi uniquement en Moi. Je te délivrerai de toutes les conséquences du péché. N’aie aucune crainte. »

Chaque acte accompli avec amour, humilité et dévotion devient une offrande éternelle au Seigneur.

Nous prions pour que cette divinité sacrée inspire d’innombrables fidèles à développer la foi, la paix intérieure, la compassion et le service désintéressé envers Dieu, aujourd’hui et pour les générations à venir.

Que cette humble offrande nous rappelle que la plus grande richesse ne réside pas dans ce que nous possédons, mais dans ce que nous consacrons avec amour au service du Divin.

Arjuna’s Unwavering Faith in Lord Krishna

One beautiful devotional story illustrates the extraordinary relationship between Lord Krishna and His beloved devotee, Arjuna.

One day, while Krishna and Arjuna were travelling together, Krishna decided to test Arjuna’s complete surrender (śaraṇāgati).

Pointing toward the sky, Krishna said,

“Arjuna, look! What a magnificent hawk!”

Without hesitation, Arjuna replied,

“Yes, my Lord, it is indeed a hawk.”

A few moments later, Krishna smiled and said,

“Perhaps it is not a hawk after all. It looks more like a pigeon.”

Arjuna immediately answered,

“Yes, my Lord, it is a pigeon.”

Krishna continued,

“On second thought, it may be a crow.”

“Yes, my Lord,” Arjuna replied.

Then Krishna said,

“Actually, it appears to be a white crow.”

Again Arjuna responded,

“Yes, my Lord, it is a white crow.”

Krishna then looked at Arjuna with affection and asked,

“Arjuna, why do you agree with everything I say? Do you not have eyes of your own?”

With folded hands and deep humility, Arjuna answered,

“My beloved Lord, I know that my senses can make mistakes, but You are the Supreme Lord. Your knowledge is perfect and unlimited. I trust You completely. Whatever You say must have a deeper truth beyond what I can perceive. Therefore, how could I disagree with You?”

This simple exchange beautifully reveals the essence of śaraṇāgati—loving surrender to the Supreme Lord.

Arjuna was not blindly agreeing out of fear or flattery. Rather, he had complete faith that Krishna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, knows everything—past, present, and future—whereas our knowledge is limited and imperfect.

As Lord Krishna teaches in the Bhagavad-gītā (4.34), we should approach the Lord and genuine spiritual teachers with humility, sincere inquiry, and a service attitude. Arjuna’s faith became the foundation upon which the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad-gītā was revealed.

May we also cultivate such unwavering faith, always praying:

“O Lord Krishna, my vision is limited, but Your wisdom is infinite. Please guide me so that my heart, words, and actions may always be aligned with Your divine will.”

அர்ஜுனனின் அசைக்க முடியாத நம்பிக்கை – ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணரின் மீது முழுமையான சரணாகதி

ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணருக்கும் அவருடைய அன்பு பக்தரான அர்ஜுனனுக்கும் இடையிலான அற்புதமான உறவை எடுத்துரைக்கும் ஒரு அழகிய பக்தி நிகழ்வுக் கதை இது.

ஒரு நாள், ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணரும் அர்ஜுனனும் ஒன்றாகப் பயணம் செய்து கொண்டிருந்தார்கள். அப்போது, அர்ஜுனனின் சரணாகதி மற்றும் அசைக்க முடியாத நம்பிக்கையை சோதிக்க ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணர் விரும்பினார்.

வானத்தை நோக்கிக் காட்டி அவர் கூறினார்:

“அர்ஜுனா! அந்த அழகான பருந்தைப் பார்!”

அர்ஜுனன் உடனே பதிலளித்தான்:

“ஆம், என் பிரபுவே! அது உண்மையிலேயே ஒரு பருந்து.”

சிறிது நேரம் கழித்து கிருஷ்ணர் புன்னகையுடன் கூறினார்:

“இல்லை… அது பருந்து அல்ல. அது ஒரு புறாவைப் போலத் தெரிகிறது.”

அர்ஜுனன் தயக்கமின்றி கூறினான்:

“ஆம், என் பிரபுவே! அது ஒரு புறா.”

பின்னர் கிருஷ்ணர் கூறினார்:

“இல்லை… அது ஒரு காகமாக இருக்கலாம்.”

அர்ஜுனன் மீண்டும் பதிலளித்தான்:

“ஆம், என் பிரபுவே! அது ஒரு காகம்.”

இறுதியாக கிருஷ்ணர் கூறினார்:

“உண்மையில் அது ஒரு வெள்ளைக் காகம்.”

அர்ஜுனன் மீண்டும் அதே பணிவுடன் கூறினான்:

“ஆம், என் பிரபுவே! அது ஒரு வெள்ளைக் காகம்.”

அப்போது கிருஷ்ணர் அன்புடன் அர்ஜுனனை நோக்கி கேட்டார்:

“அர்ஜுனா! நான் எதைச் சொன்னாலும் நீ ஏன் உடனே ஏற்றுக்கொள்கிறாய்? உனக்கே கண்கள் இல்லையா?”

அர்ஜுனன் கைகளை கூப்பி மிகுந்த பணிவுடன் பதிலளித்தான்:

“என் அன்பான கிருஷ்ணா! என் கண்களும் என் புலன்களும் தவறு செய்யக்கூடும். ஆனால் நீங்கள் பரம்பொருள். உங்கள் அறிவு எல்லையற்றது; அது ஒருபோதும் தவறாது. நான் காண்பதைவிட நீங்கள் காண்பது உண்மையானது. எனவே, நீங்கள் கூறுவதை நான் எவ்வாறு மறுக்க முடியும்?”

இந்தச் சிறிய உரையாடல் சரணாகதியின் உண்மையான அர்த்தத்தை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறது.

அர்ஜுனன் பயத்தினாலோ புகழ்ச்சிக்காகவோ ஒப்புக்கொள்ளவில்லை. மாறாக, பரமாத்மாவாகிய ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணரின் அறிவு எல்லையற்றது; ஆனால் மனித அறிவு வரையறுக்கப்பட்டது என்பதை அவர் முழுமையாக உணர்ந்திருந்தார்.

அதனால்தான் பகவத் கீதையின் அமுதமான உபதேசத்தைப் பெறும் பாக்கியம் அர்ஜுனனுக்குக் கிடைத்தது.

நாமும் தினமும் இப்படிப் பிரார்த்திப்போம்:

“ஓ ஸ்ரீ கிருஷ்ணா! என் பார்வை வரையறுக்கப்பட்டது; ஆனால் உங்கள் ஞானம் எல்லையற்றது. என் மனம், சொல், செயல் அனைத்தும் உங்கள் தெய்வீக சித்தத்துடன் ஒன்றிணைய என்னை வழிநடத்துங்கள்.”

La confiance inébranlable d’Arjuna envers le Seigneur Krishna

Voici un magnifique récit de tradition dévotionnelle qui illustre la relation exceptionnelle entre le Seigneur Krishna et Son cher dévot, Arjuna.

Un jour, alors que Krishna et Arjuna voyageaient ensemble, Krishna décida de mettre à l’épreuve la śaraṇāgati, c’est-à-dire l’abandon total et confiant d’Arjuna.

En montrant le ciel, Krishna dit :

« Arjuna, regarde ! Quel magnifique faucon ! »

Sans la moindre hésitation, Arjuna répondit :

« Oui, mon Seigneur, c’est bien un faucon. »

Quelques instants plus tard, Krishna sourit et dit :

« Finalement, ce n’est peut-être pas un faucon. Cela ressemble plutôt à un pigeon. »

Arjuna répondit aussitôt :

« Oui, mon Seigneur, c’est un pigeon. »

Krishna poursuivit :

« Ou peut-être est-ce un corbeau. »

Arjuna répondit :

« Oui, mon Seigneur, c’est un corbeau. »

Puis Krishna conclut :

« En réalité, c’est un corbeau blanc. »

Avec la même humilité, Arjuna répondit :

« Oui, mon Seigneur, c’est un corbeau blanc. »

Krishna regarda alors Arjuna avec affection et lui demanda :

« Arjuna, pourquoi acceptes-tu tout ce que je dis ? N’as-tu pas tes propres yeux ? »

Les mains jointes, Arjuna répondit avec une profonde humilité :

« Mon bien-aimé Seigneur, mes yeux et mes sens peuvent me tromper. Mais Vous êtes le Seigneur Suprême. Votre connaissance est parfaite et infinie. Je fais entièrement confiance à Votre sagesse. Ce que Vous voyez dépasse ce que je peux percevoir. Comment pourrais-je donc Vous contredire ? »

Ce simple dialogue révèle toute la profondeur de la śaraṇāgati : l’abandon confiant au Seigneur.

Arjuna n’approuvait pas Krishna par peur ni par flatterie. Il avait une foi totale dans la connaissance parfaite du Seigneur, tandis qu’il reconnaissait les limites de sa propre perception.

C’est cette foi qui fit d’Arjuna le destinataire des enseignements éternels de la Bhagavad-Gītā.

Prions nous aussi chaque jour :

« Ô Seigneur Krishna, ma vision est limitée, mais Votre sagesse est infinie. Guidez mon cœur, mes paroles et mes actions afin qu’ils soient toujours en harmonie avec Votre volonté divine. »
