Hello everyone! 👋

It is always a fascinating experience to connect with our friends and family through our Family WhatsApp group.

Of course, many family members are busy with their own responsibilities, and some have even left the group. As for us, we may appear to have more free time—but in reality, none of us is truly free. Even a tree is not free; everything in this universe functions under higher laws and is beautifully regulated.

As we promised, we have a little story to share about how our son Krishna’s Krrish Academy successfully organised its annual certification ceremony.

To be honest, I usually avoid attending large events. However, after witnessing our son’s remarkable achievements and remembering how much effort he had invested, we decided that we should be there to support him.

“Oh my goodness!” I had imagined that the entire trip would take only a couple of hours.

At about 2:30 p.m., my dear daughter said, “Maiyuran and his mother, Selvi, will be coming to pick both of you up for the ceremony.”

“Thank you, darling,” I replied. “What time will we arrive?”

She smiled and answered, “It may take two or three hours to reach Rugby in the Midlands.”

Only then did I realise that we would still be travelling around my usual bedtime!

Anyway, I remained silent.

As planned, we travelled together with Maiyuran and Selvi. I sat in the front seat, quietly wondering how we would spend several hours with our new relatives. I was still getting to know them and wasn’t quite sure how to begin a conversation—especially with an engineer!

Then, quite unexpectedly, Maiyuran switched on beautiful Krishna chanting.

I was immediately impressed. The peaceful atmosphere encouraged me to begin a conversation.

Thinking about how engineers, inventors, and biologists often discover remarkable similarities between machines and living organisms, I shared a few examples.

Some fascinating parallels between machines and the human body:

● Engine ↔ Heart: Both provide the driving force that keeps the entire system operating. An engine generates mechanical power, while the heart pumps blood throughout the body.

● Valves ↔ Heart valves: Both ensure that fluid flows in only one direction and prevent backflow.

● Radiator or heat exchanger ↔ Lungs: A radiator exchanges heat with the environment, while the lungs exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide. Their functions differ, yet both are systems that interact with the outside world.

● Filters ↔ Liver and kidneys: Oil and fuel filters remove impurities from a machine. Likewise, the liver processes chemicals, and the kidneys filter the blood to maintain the body’s balance.

● Fuel tank ↔ Stomach: One stores fuel for a vehicle; the other stores and digests food to supply energy for the body.

● Pipes ↔ Blood vessels and the urinary system: Both transport fluids efficiently from one place to another.

● Electrical wiring ↔ Nervous system: Electrical wires transmit signals through a machine, while nerves carry electrical impulses throughout the body. Unlike wires, however, the nervous system is living tissue that can adapt, repair itself to some extent, and process information with extraordinary complexity.

I then mentioned that the field exploring these similarities is called biomimetics (or biomimicry), where engineers learn from nature to solve engineering challenges.

For example:

● Aircraft wings were inspired by birds.

● The streamlined nose of high-speed trains was inspired by the kingfisher.

● Advanced adhesives were inspired by the remarkable feet of geckos.

At the same time, I added that not every similarity comes from copying nature. Sometimes both biology and engineering arrive at the same solution because the laws of physics naturally favour the most efficient design. A one-way valve, for example, is an elegant solution whether it is found in the human heart or in a mechanical pump.

Maiyuran smiled thoughtfully and said,

“Your observation is quite reasonable. Many inventors have studied biology, anatomy, and nature, and nature has inspired countless technological advances.”

I felt delighted.

He continued,

“At the same time, some similarities exist simply because the laws of physics and engineering naturally lead to comparable solutions.”

His words beautifully appreciated both the incredible complexity of the human body and the creativity of human technology.

As he also understands, the Creator is the ultimate Creator.

The rest of our journey passed with joyful conversation, mutual respect, and genuine happiness.

You may wonder why we are sharing this story.

Sometimes the greatest journeys are not measured by the distance travelled, but by the meaningful conversations, new friendships, and deeper appreciation of the wisdom reflected in both nature and human creativity.

நமது குடும்ப வாட்ஸ்அப் குழுவின் மூலம் உறவினர்களையும் நண்பர்களையும் சந்தித்து உரையாடுவது எப்போதும் மகிழ்ச்சியான அனுபவமாகும்.

நிச்சயமாக, பலர் தங்கள் அன்றாட பொறுப்புகளில் பிஸியாக இருக்கிறார்கள். சிலர் காலப்போக்கில் குழுவிலிருந்தும் விலகியுள்ளனர். நாங்கள் சற்றே ஓய்வாக இருப்பதாகத் தோன்றினாலும், உண்மையில் இந்த உலகில் யாரும் முழுமையாக சுதந்திரமானவர்கள் அல்ல. ஒரு மரம்கூட இயற்கையின் விதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிந்தே வளர்கிறது. இந்தப் பிரபஞ்சத்தில் உள்ள ஒவ்வொரு உயிரும், ஒவ்வொரு இயக்கமும் அற்புதமான ஒழுங்குடன் இயங்குகின்றன.

பொதுவாக, பெரிய கூட்டங்கள் அல்லது விழாக்களில் கலந்து கொள்வதை நாங்கள் தவிர்ப்போம். ஆனால், எங்கள் மகனின் அர்ப்பணிப்பையும், அவரது கல்வி நிலையத்தின் சிறப்பான முன்னேற்றத்தையும் கண்டு, அவருக்கு உற்சாகம் அளிப்பது எங்கள் கடமை என்றும் பெருமை என்றும் எண்ணினோம்.

மதியம் சுமார் 2.30 மணியளவில், எங்கள் மகள், “மயூரனும் அவரது தாயார் செல்வியும் உங்களை அழைத்துச் செல்ல வருகிறார்கள்” என்று தெரிவித்தாள்.

“பயணம் எவ்வளவு நேரம் ஆகும்?” என்று கேட்டோம்.

“ரக்பி, மிட்லாண்ட்ஸை அடைய இரண்டு அல்லது மூன்று மணி நேரம் ஆகலாம்,” என்றாள்.

ஒருவரை ஒருவர் பார்த்து சிரித்துக் கொண்டோம். எதிர்பார்த்ததை விட நீண்ட பயணமாக இருந்தாலும், வாழ்க்கையின் அழகான அனுபவங்கள் பலவும் இப்படிப்பட்ட எதிர்பாராத தருணங்களில்தான் தொடங்குகின்றன.

சிறிது நேரத்தில் மயூரனும் செல்வியும் எங்களை அன்புடன் அழைத்துச் சென்றார்கள். ஆரம்பத்தில் குடும்ப விஷயங்களைப் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டு ஒருவரை ஒருவர் அறிமுகப்படுத்திக் கொண்டோம்.

பின்னர் மயூரன் இனிமையான கிருஷ்ண பக்திப் பாடல்களை ஒலிக்கச் செய்தார்.

அந்த அமைதியான சூழல் இயல்பாகவே அறிவியல், பொறியியல், உயிரியல், இயற்கை மற்றும் ஆன்மீகம் பற்றிய சுவாரஸ்யமான உரையாடலுக்குக் கொண்டு சென்றது.

பயணத்தின் போது, இயந்திரங்களுக்கும் உயிரினங்களுக்கும் இடையிலான ஆச்சரியமான ஒற்றுமைகளைப் பற்றி சிந்தித்தோம். இயந்திரங்கள் மனிதர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டவை; உயிரினங்கள் அளவிட முடியாத சிக்கலானவை. இருப்பினும், பல அமைப்புகள் ஒரே இயற்பியல் விதிகளின் அடிப்படையில் செயல்படுகின்றன.

உதாரணமாக:

• எஞ்சின் ↔ இதயம் – இரண்டும் முழு அமைப்பிற்கும் இயக்க சக்தியை வழங்குகின்றன.

• வால்வுகள் ↔ இதய வால்வுகள் – இரண்டும் திரவம் ஒரே திசையில் செல்ல உதவுகின்றன.

• ரேடியேட்டர் ↔ நுரையீரல் – ஒன்று வெப்பத்தை பரிமாறுகிறது; மற்றொன்று ஆக்சிஜனையும் கார்பன் டையாக்சைடையும் பரிமாறுகிறது.

• வடிகட்டிகள் ↔ கல்லீரல் மற்றும் சிறுநீரகங்கள் – இரண்டும் தேவையற்ற பொருட்களை நீக்குகின்றன.

• எரிபொருள் தொட்டி ↔ வயிறு – ஒன்று எரிபொருளைச் சேமிக்கிறது; மற்றொன்று உணவைச் சேமித்து செரிமானம் செய்கிறது.

• குழாய்கள் ↔ இரத்த நாளங்கள் – இரண்டும் திரவங்களை எடுத்துச் செல்கின்றன.

• மின்கம்பிகள் ↔ நரம்பு மண்டலம் – இரண்டும் மின்சாரத் தகவல்களை எடுத்துச் செல்கின்றன. ஆனால் நரம்பு மண்டலம் கற்றுக்கொள்ளவும், தழுவிக்கொள்ளவும், தகவல்களைச் செயலாக்கவும் கூடிய உயிருள்ள அமைப்பாகும்.

இதிலிருந்து Biomimetics (அல்லது Biomimicry) என்ற துறையைப் பற்றியும் பேசினோம். இதில் இயற்கையிலிருந்து கற்றுக் கொண்டு புதிய தொழில்நுட்பங்களை பொறியாளர்கள் உருவாக்குகின்றனர்.

பறவைகள் விமான இறக்கைகளுக்கு ஊக்கமளித்தன. மீன்கொத்திப் பறவை அதிவேக ரயிலின் முன்பகுதி வடிவமைப்புக்கு ஊக்கமளித்தது. கெக்கோ பல்லியின் கால்கள் புதிய ஒட்டும் தொழில்நுட்பங்களுக்கு ஊக்கமளித்தன.

அப்போது மயூரன் ஒரு அழகான கருத்தைச் சேர்த்தார்.

“பல கண்டுபிடிப்புகள் இயற்கையிலிருந்து ஊக்கமடைந்தவை என்பது உண்மைதான். ஆனால் சில சமயங்களில், இயற்பியல் விதிகளே மிகவும் திறமையான தீர்வை உருவாக்குவதால், இயற்கையும் பொறியியலும் ஒரே வடிவத்தை அடைகின்றன,” என்றார்.

அவருடைய கருத்து எங்கள் உரையாடலை முழுமைப்படுத்தியது.

உண்மையில், ஒருதிசை வால்வு மனித இதயத்திலும் இருக்கலாம்; ஒரு இயந்திர பம்பிலும் இருக்கலாம். இரண்டிலும் அது சிறந்த தீர்வாகவே செயல்படுகிறது.

அந்தப் பயணம் ஒரு சாதாரண கார் பயணமாக இல்லாமல், அனைவரும் ஒன்றோடொன்று கற்றுக்கொண்ட ஒரு இனிய வகுப்பறையாக மாறியது.

இலக்கை அடைந்தபோது, பயணமே அன்றைய நாளின் அழகான நினைவாக மாறியிருந்தது.

வாழ்க்கை நமக்குக் கற்பிக்கும் ஒரு அழகான பாடம் இதுதான்: திறந்த மனதுடனும் பணிவான இதயத்துடனும் ஒன்றாகப் பயணித்தால், ஒவ்வொரு பயணமும் ஒரு பள்ளிக்கூடமாகவும், ஒவ்வொரு உரையாடலும் ஒரு பாடமாகவும், ஒவ்வொரு நட்பும் ஒரு ஆசீர்வாதமாகவும் மாறுகிறது.

அறிவையும், ஞானத்தையும், பணிவையும், படைப்பாளரின் மகத்துவத்தை உணரும் மனதையும் இறைவன் அனைவருக்கும் அருள்வாராக. 🪔🙏

C’est toujours une joie de retrouver notre famille et nos amis grâce à notre groupe WhatsApp familial.

Bien sûr, beaucoup de membres sont occupés par leurs responsabilités quotidiennes, et certains ont quitté le groupe au fil du temps. Quant à nous, même si nous semblons avoir un peu plus de temps libre, personne n’est réellement libre. Même un arbre grandit selon les lois de la nature. Chaque être vivant et chaque mouvement de l’univers suivent un ordre admirable.

Comme nous l’avions promis, nous souhaitons partager notre expérience lors de la cérémonie annuelle de remise des certificats de la Krrish Academy, fondée par notre fils Krishna.

Habituellement, nous évitons les grands rassemblements. Cependant, en voyant le dévouement de notre fils et le succès de son Académie, nous avons estimé qu’il était de notre devoir et de notre joie de l’encourager par notre présence.

Vers 14 h 30, notre fille nous a annoncé que Maiyuran et sa mère, Selvi, viendraient nous conduire jusqu’au lieu de la cérémonie.

« Combien de temps durera le trajet ? » avons-nous demandé.

« Environ deux ou trois heures jusqu’à Rugby, dans les Midlands », répondit-elle.

Nous avons souri. Le voyage serait plus long que prévu, mais les plus belles expériences commencent souvent de manière inattendue.

Peu après, nous étions en route avec Maiyuran et Selvi. Après quelques échanges chaleureux, Maiyuran lança de magnifiques chants consacrés à Krishna.

Cette atmosphère paisible nous conduisit naturellement vers une conversation sur la science, l’ingénierie, la biologie, la nature et la spiritualité.

Nous avons évoqué les étonnantes ressemblances entre les machines et les êtres vivants. Bien que les machines soient créées par l’être humain et que les organismes vivants soient infiniment plus complexes, beaucoup de leurs systèmes reposent sur des principes physiques comparables.

Le moteur et le cœur fournissent tous deux l’énergie nécessaire au fonctionnement d’un système. Les valves mécaniques et les valves cardiaques assurent un écoulement dans un seul sens. Le radiateur et les poumons réalisent des échanges avec leur environnement. Les filtres rappellent le rôle du foie et des reins. Le réservoir de carburant peut être comparé à l’estomac, les conduites aux vaisseaux sanguins, et les circuits électriques au système nerveux, qui demeure cependant infiniment plus sophistiqué.

Nous avons également parlé de la biomimétique, discipline dans laquelle les ingénieurs s’inspirent de la nature pour développer de nouvelles technologies.

Les ailes des oiseaux ont inspiré les avions, le martin-pêcheur a inspiré le nez des trains à grande vitesse, et les pattes du gecko ont inspiré de nouveaux matériaux adhésifs.

Maiyuran ajouta alors une réflexion très pertinente :

« Beaucoup d’inventions sont inspirées de la nature. Mais parfois, les mêmes solutions apparaissent simplement parce que les lois de la physique conduisent naturellement à la conception la plus efficace. »

Cette remarque compléta parfaitement notre échange.

Qu’il s’agisse d’une valve cardiaque ou d’une pompe mécanique, un clapet anti-retour représente une solution ingénieuse au même problème.

Ce trajet devint ainsi bien plus qu’un simple déplacement. Il se transforma en une véritable salle de classe où chacun apprenait des autres.

Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à destination, nous avons réalisé que le voyage lui-même faisait déjà partie des plus beaux souvenirs de cette journée.

Peut-être est-ce là une belle leçon de la vie : lorsque nous voyageons ensemble avec un esprit ouvert et un cœur humble, chaque trajet devient une occasion d’apprendre, chaque conversation une leçon, et chaque amitié une bénédiction.

Que Dieu nous bénisse tous en nous accordant la curiosité d’apprendre, la sagesse de comprendre, l’humilité d’apprécier les autres et la gratitude envers le Créateur, source de toute connaissance et de toute créativité. 🪔🙏
