Episode 140

Very Good Morning πŸŒ…

May this day unfold with grace and kindness in every heart.

Material wealth may take many forms—share markets, properties, assets, and possessions. Yet, beautiful behaviour stands far above all these. It carries no price, yet it wins the love of countless hearts πŸ’•. Such virtue is deeply cherished—especially by the Lord of Lords, Sri Krishna, who reveals divine wisdom through many sacred forms, including Vyasadeva and Pillayar.

Hindu Happy New Year!

Hare Krishna πŸ•‰️

On this auspicious occasion, we humbly wish to share and inspire our readers through real-life moments—simple events that carry deeper truths.

As usual, while returning from the Hare Krishna temple πŸ›•, I noticed a gentleman seated in front of a beautiful blue building, engaged in conversation. Out of courtesy, I greeted him with a smile, wondering who this well-established person might be, surrounded by vehicles and comfort.

To my surprise, he immediately ended his conversation and warmly welcomed me with genuine respect and a joyful smile. As I sat before him, he began speaking openly—sharing his thoughts about the community, its strengths, and its shortcomings.

I was both surprised and deeply moved by his charismatic nature.

Then came a moment of recognition.

He reminded me of an incident nearly six months ago—when I had seen him sitting among labourers, sharing a simple meal. At that time, I had encouraged him to offer them a little more in wages, with the condition that they write the Maha Mantra πŸ•‰️ 108 times.

Only then did I realize—this humble man was the same person. Despite his means, he lived simply, dedicating his harvest not for personal luxury, but to serve the devotees of the Hare Krishna temple.

In that moment, I felt a sense of humility within myself… almost an inferiority, and I quietly took my leave with gratitude.

Before I left, he spoke of our devotional service—the distribution of flour and rice—and expressed his sorrow upon learning that some had misused and deceived this sacred effort.

Even in such moments, we are reminded:

true wealth lies not in possessions, but in sincerity, humility, and service.
