We identify ourselves with the outer body while overlooking the inner bridge of divine consciousness:

Whatever we study here is largely based upon materially motivated resources, created and interpreted by materially educated intelligentsia.

“So is that the reason material science cannot fully recognise the reality of the Supreme Personality of Godhead?”

Teacher:

“One hundred percent—within the distinction we are discussing.

Material science generally studies what can be observed, measured, tested, and analysed through material instruments.

But the Universal University points towards a deeper reality—like a torch of spiritual science illuminating what material instruments alone cannot reach.”

Student:

மாணவர்களே, இலங்கையில் உள்ள நமது குடும்பத்தினருக்கு, பாடசாலை மாணவர்களுக்கு சில உணவுப் பொதிகளை வழங்குமாறு ஏற்கனவே தெரிவித்துள்ளோம். இன்று ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை என்பதால், அந்தச் சேவை திங்கட்கிழமை அல்லது செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை நடைபெறும்.

உலகப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் முழு பொருள் பிரபஞ்சத்திற்கும் அப்பாற்பட்டது.

ஏன்?

ஏனெனில் சாதாரணப் பல்கலைக்கழகங்களில் படிக்கும் மனிதர்கள் நான்கு அடிப்படை மனித வரம்புகளுக்கு உட்பட்டவர்களாகவே இருக்கிறார்கள்.”

மாணவர்:

“அவை என்ன, ஐயா? குறைந்தபட்சம் ஒரு உதாரணமாவது சொல்லுங்கள். 🙏”

ஆசிரியர்:

“சரி. நீங்கள் பணிவாகக் கேட்பதால், முதலில் மிகவும் எளிய ஒன்றைச் சொல்கிறேன்:

தவறுகளைச் செய்வது.”

“என் கடவுளே! தெய்வீகத்தின் உண்மையைப் பற்றி நீங்கள் உண்மையிலேயே ஒரு பெரிய விஷயத்தை வெளிப்படுத்திவிட்டீர்கள்!

இது எனக்கு லூர்தை நினைவூட்டுகிறது. அந்த ஏழை இளம் பெண் அழகிய அன்னை மரியாளின் தோற்றத்தைத் தரிசித்தபோது, கூட்டத்தில் இருந்த அனைவரும் அவர் அனுபவித்ததை உணர்ந்தார்களா?”

ஆசிரியர்:

“இல்லை, மாணவர்களே.

அவர்கள் அவளுடைய உடல் மொழியையும், அவளுடைய எதிர்வினைகளையும், அவர்களின் ஐந்து புலன்களால் உணரக்கூடியவற்றையும் மட்டுமே கவனிக்க முடிந்தது.”

“நான்காவது வரம்பு மாயை—Māyā.

நாம் வெளிப்புற உடலுடன் நம்மை அடையாளப்படுத்திக் கொள்கிறோம்; ஆனால் நம்முள் இருக்கும் தெய்வீக உணர்வின் பாலத்தைப் புறக்கணித்து விடுகிறோம்:

ஆத்மா மற்றும் பரமாத்மா.”

இங்கே நாம் படிக்கும் அனைத்தும் பெரும்பாலும் பொருள் சார்ந்த நோக்கங்களைக் கொண்ட வளங்களை அடிப்படையாகக் கொண்டவை; அவை பொருள் சார்ந்த கல்வியைப் பெற்ற அறிவுஜீவிகளால் உருவாக்கப்பட்டும் விளக்கப்பட்டும் வருகின்றன.

ஆனால் வேதங்களின் தீர்ப்பு மாயைக்கு அப்பால் சுட்டிக்காட்டுகிறது.”

மாணவர்:

“அப்படியானால், பொருள் சார்ந்த அறிவியலால் பரம புருஷோத்தம பகவானின் உண்மையை முழுமையாக உணர முடியாததற்கு இதுவே காரணமா?”

ஆசிரியர்:

“நாம் பேசிக்கொண்டிருக்கும் இந்த வேறுபாட்டின் அடிப்படையில்—நூறு சதவீதம்.

பொருள் சார்ந்த அறிவியல் பொதுவாகக் காணக்கூடிய, அளவிடக்கூடிய, சோதிக்கக்கூடிய, பொருள் சார்ந்த கருவிகளால் பகுப்பாய்வு செய்யக்கூடியவற்றை ஆராய்கிறது.

ஆனால் உலகப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் அதைவிட ஆழமான ஓர் உண்மையை நோக்கிச் சுட்டுகிறது—பொருள் சார்ந்த கருவிகளால் மட்டும் அடைய முடியாததை ஒளிரச் செய்யும் ஆன்மீக அறிவியலின் ஒளிவிளக்கைப் போன்றது.”

மாணவர்:

“நேரம் முடிந்துவிட்டது, ஐயா!”

ஆசிரியர்:

“பிறகு சந்திப்போம், சிறந்த அறிவியல் மாணவர்களே! ஹா…ஹா…!

L’Université Universelle se trouve au-delà de tout l’univers matériel.

Pourquoi ?

Parce que les êtres humains qui étudient dans les universités ordinaires restent soumis à quatre limitations humaines fondamentales. »

Élève :

« Quelles sont-elles, Monsieur ? Donnez-nous au moins un exemple, s’il vous plaît. 🙏 »

Professeur :

« Très bien. Puisque vous posez la question avec humilité, je vais commencer par la plus simple :

Commettre des erreurs. »

Les élèves :

« Oh Jésus ! Donnez-nous-en encore une ! »

Professeur :

« La deuxième est :

« Tricher ? »

Professeur :

« Alors… voulez-vous dire que même les électeurs tamouls peuvent être trompés ? »

« Ha…ha… ! La troisième limitation est que nos instruments corporels — nos sens et nos organes qui nous ont été donnés par l’Originateur — ne sont pas des instruments parfaits pour tout comprendre. »

« Mon Dieu ! Vous venez vraiment de révéler quelque chose sur la réalité de la Divinité !

Cela me fait penser à Lourdes. Lorsque cette pauvre jeune fille a été témoin de l’apparition de la belle Vierge Marie, est-ce que tout le monde dans la foule a reconnu ce qu’elle vivait ? »

Professeur :

« Non, mes élèves.

Ils pouvaient seulement observer son langage corporel, ses réactions et ce qui pouvait être perçu à travers leurs cinq sens. »

Professeur :

« Et la quatrième limitation est l’illusion — Māyā.

Nous nous identifions à notre corps extérieur tout en négligeant le pont intérieur de la conscience divine :

Ātman et Paramātman. »

« À cent pour cent !

Tout ce que nous étudions ici repose en grande partie sur des ressources motivées par des objectifs matériels, créées et interprétées par des intellectuels formés dans l’éducation matérielle.

Mais le verdict des Védas nous conduit au-delà de Māyā. »

Élève :

« Est-ce donc la raison pour laquelle la science matérielle ne peut pas reconnaître pleinement la réalité de la Personne Suprême de Dieu ? »

Professeur :

« À cent pour cent — dans le cadre de la distinction dont nous parlons.

La science matérielle étudie généralement ce qui peut être observé, mesuré, testé et analysé au moyen d’instruments matériels.

Mais l’Université Universelle nous oriente vers une réalité plus profonde — comme une torche de science spirituelle qui éclaire ce que les seuls instruments matériels ne peuvent atteindre. »

Élève :

« Monsieur, le temps est écoulé ! »

Professeur :

« À plus tard, mes grands étudiants en science ! Ha…ha… !
